Our Store Happy New Year To All Of You!
Well-did you get all of your holiday projects finished on time? Or, did
you have to resort to giving “I-O-Us”? Why is it that early in October I
feel like I am prepared for the holidays but around December 15th I
realize that I still have a lot more to do? One of the mysteries of life, I
suppose!
The Bobbin Case, inc. has many exciting events planned for 2010
and we hope that you will join us for all the fun. If you have not made
it a habit to attend BERNINA and Embroidery Club meetings, I
suggest that you start the year out by putting the dates down on your new
2010 calendar. Not only do you learn more about your BERNINA
/bernette, you also enjoy the friendships of others who share your love
of sewing and creating. “Show and Tell” is always a popular part of these
Club meetings as everyone likes to see what others have made. As a
reminder, you do not have to bring your own machine to these meetings
as you can use the floor models. Remember-if you purchased your
machine from us, you automatically have “life-time” Club membership.
If you purchased your machine elsewhere, there is a nominal fee to
attend the Club meetings.
Speaking of the floor models, it is time to sell our floor models and
these are offered at tremendous savings. Those of us who work at The
Bobbin Case do not and have not hesitated to purchase demo or floor
models as we know that we get “new machines” at great prices.
If you have an email address, I encourage you to give it to us so that
we can send you the newsletter via email. You will get your
newsletters earlier (and in color) and by being on our email list, you will
receive announcements of special events/promotions and reminders of
events, such as Club meetings. I am sure that many of you are like me-I
prefer to read a “paper book” rather than read the same material on a
computer screen. But-like it or not, computers are “here to stay” and we
all have to accept that fact. We should think of the positive aspects of
computers, such as making it possible for us to download embroidery
designs and projects-with many of them being free. If the store is closed,
you can email me with a question about your machine, about a
technique or about a class and usually receive a reply before the store
opens again.
Don’t forget to check out our web sites (thebobbincase.net and
sew2000.com/thebobbincase) and our “blog”
(thebobbincase.blogspot.com) for information about classes, promotions,
and what is happening as well as what we have planned for the future.
Happy Sewing,

Linda
