Crib Size Rag Quilt
November 06, 2008 (06:30pm) Simple, yet so fun. The magic is in the final step………..the washing. First you start with a small square of fabric for the top, back and batting. These squares are layered and quilted in a running chain style before piecing. They are then arranged in a desirable color scheme, pieced together with the seam allowance visible. When completed, this seam allowance is fringed and washed to soften and curl. It is so cute, you will want to make more than one. |
