View of store from Centre City Pkwy Judy Kessinger owner of Fit Nice Sew Slim Pattern Systems, will conduct two events at Bits n Pieces. The first is a Trunk Show. Judy will have an entire wardrobe she's made from two patterns. The Trunk Show will highlight creative touches for garments and how to achieve a "store bought look." Judy will demonstrate techniques using several accessory feet, using decorative threads with your machine stitches. Come join us for this educational and fun event on Saturday April 5, 2008 from 2:00-4:00 pm. Besure to bring your cameras so you can photograph Judy's wonderful clothing. Cost:$15.00 per person. Bring a friend and you each pay $10.00.

Judy's second event is a fabulous pants fitting workshop. After you've had your measurements taken, you'll learn how to draft a pattern that fits only you. Then sew the pants and alter any "arrears" that need fixing. Among several of Judy's techniques you'll learn to do is a buffet waist. The buffet waist is a very comfortable draw cord waist for pants. After the 6 hour workshop, you can make a wardrobe of capris, shorts, and slacks--all from the same perfectly fitting pattern. Best of all these pants will make you look 10 pounds slimmer. Class size is limited, 8-12. So sign up quickly. Workshop is Sunday April 27, 2008, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Cost: $50.00 per person. Bring a friend and you each pay $45.00. Those of us at Bits n Pieces can't wait for these events and you all to join us!!
